This is Gudda

Hello everyone,

This is Mahadev, and people in my circle call me as "gudda" meaning a "hill" and also my surname is Cholachagudda.

One dumb question. What "BHP" means in "Team BHP".

I've purchased a new FIAT PALIO 1.6 Sport, Canary Yellow Colour and currently in love with it. Its amazing.

Credits should go to Amit (who posted his PALIO experience) and also to www.paliousersindia.net from where I got many interesting stuff about Palio.

I can say Team-BHP rocks and helps a lot for any person in the automotive domain.

Cheers,
Mahadev

Gudda - welcome to the gang .

Great choice with the car and the colour too. The Palio looks stunning in Yellow. Just one thing - that 17.5 kmpl ....is that what you got ? How ?

Do let us know more about the sales and service experience of Fiat. A whole lot of us will be listening quite atentively to that.

Have fun

No such thing as a dumb question. BHP = Brake Horse Power. Although I do find it surprising that you have mentioned the FE of your Palio Sports and not the 100 horses that people normally buy it for.

Welcome to the Team.

Thank you everyone,

Yep that is the FE I got when I took it for 500kms run 3 day after my car delivery (from Bangalore to Hubli).

-I maintained 70-80Kmph (as I read that never cross 3000 rpm in first 2000 kms)
-I was the only person to travel in that car.

Yep, I forgot to mention about 100 horses, but for all those who think about the FE of a 1.6 ltr, 100 Bhp engine, this info will give enough thought to relook at Palio. Even on Paliousersindia.net, I saw many people posting their FE of 20Kmpl on highway. I bought it only for 100 BHp and not for FE, but surprised to see that FE.

Cheers,
Mahadev
