Hurray!!! Finally I am a BHPian now :)

Hello BHPians,

Ahh! this is a perfect start for my diwali celebrations. Believe it or not this is my 9th attempt to join team-bhp and finally I made it. In kannada there is a saying "Marali yatnava madu" which means try repeating until you succeed and this perfectly suits for me .
My journey to team-bhp all started when I came across BHPian KKarthik`s red rocket punto in Bangalore. For past 7 months I have been a silent lurker and have visited most of the threads. Currently I own a 2012 Figo diesel and soon upgrading to Polo GT TSI. Oh ya I almost forgot Classic 500 in pipeline too . Apart from cars and bikes I like to go on trekking and cycling. Firefox Sniper V does duty for my cycling and for living I work as a Specialist in US based product MNC.
Anyways I am looking forward to share my set of experiences and learnings with you all and I wish all BHPians a safe and colorful diwali!!!.

Hello Dragonhawk,
Welcome aboard buddy and a very happy Diwali to you and your family.
Nice to hear that even you have a passion towards cycling. Even I'm a cyclist and have been cycling for 13+ years since I got my first bicycle in kindergarten :P
Nice to hear that even after nine tries you didn't give up otherwise you wouldn't have been here now.
Hope you have a nice stay here.
Cheers

Just returned after doing a 15+ km in the city. I feel that cycling is the best way to explore the unexplored parts of the inner city.

Are you a Manglorean too?
RXLife organises a cycle rally every year on December. Any plans of comin over?

Yup basically I am from Puttur and like most others moved to Bangalore after completing my studies.
Definitely cycling is the only way you can learn more about your city and I wonder whether there are separate tracks for cyclist in Mangalore. Ya I heard about event organized by RXLife, unfortunately this time I have to give a miss as I will be traveling to Boston this December:(

Nope, sadly there are no separate tracks for cycling in mangalore. No problem buddy, if you miss it this time there's always a next time
Have a nice and safe trip to Boston.
