Hi fellas
This is amitoj here. I am from Punjab residing in Bangalore. People call it garden city but i call it Pub city, among many other things.
I have a 99 model of Zen VX. Recently got a K&N filter fitted in it. I like to go on long trips, love to drive. Done almost 90K.
And i look forward to having interesting, enlightening and sometimes amusing conversations with you all here.

thanks
amitoj

yo thanks for the welcome guys.
I have been cruising around in the message boards since yesterday and all the time i cant stop wondering "where the hell have i been browsing before??" This place is awesome!
I wish i was here before the drag races in Bangalore. Any idea when the TeamBHPians of Bangalore are having their next get together?

Amit!

Welcome to Team-BHP. I think me and you have a thing in common....that is to use our cars till they drop apart. 90K and a recently added K&N indicates you want to keep her for long

How did you hear about us?

Hey GTO.
Yeah i am very fond of my zen. And the way i treat her, i cant treat a new car . So i intend to stick with it for at least another 50-60K or until it falls apart (whatever happens first).
I was desperately seeking auto enthusiasts from India in yahoo groups when i came across this post from a user in IndianCars:
"do visit www.team-bhp.com for ur auto quota . Much more active & extremely well moderated. I can guarantee a good time there."
And as you can see, i am having a whale of a time here.... reading old posts, catching up.

other than the filter, i have other mods too but they are still on my To-Do list than on the car! Primarily, a free flow exhaust, steel plates instead of the stock filter box and last but not the least, the tyres are due for replacement as well. But i was looking for some expert opinions on these before taking the plunge. My search has come to an end at Team BHP
