Ah, the plight of an Innova owner!!

My family is probably in the same boat (though only 1.30 Lakh km done so far).

Did you still get a pretty good price for the Innova? (assuming it was a diesel).

Welcome Rahul!

That is quite a portfolio!

I too a Toyota fan! after owning a Qualis for 2 lakhs kms, the impeccable value it had in those years was unbeatable. However, never found any Toyota vfm post Qualis era.

I got Rs. 6,40,000.00 for the Innova, in spite of one accident repair. We had side impacted a tractor trolley when the tractor had taken a sudden U turn in front of us.
The buyer was a subcontractor who knew about the incidence so I did not haggle much. I could have hidden the fact and received more, but chose not to do so.

Toyota and VW in one house?! Would be interesting to know your experience with these two 180 degree opposite companies in terms of reliability and cost of ownership

BTW, Polo you have?

Cheers!

Re: Rahul from Pune

I have just done about 20,000 km in the Polo only one servicing till date at 15,000 which cost Rs 7000. I clean the air filter every 5000 km and top up the 5W-40 oil needed 300ml at 5000km and 200ml at 10,000. At 20,000 level is just below maximum, so no top up as yet.

Innova used to be cheap to maintain about Rs 1000 for 5000km service and Rs 4500 for 10,000 km one. We don't drive harsh so brakes and clutch last reasonably long.
