Hello from the Queen of Hills!

Hello Everybody,

Today when I woke up , my email inbox read “ Team – BHP Membership APPROVED!”
My instant reaction to this was simply,” UuuuuuuuHhoooooo…..”
I knew my day was going to be good. It simply made my day.

Well about me, I am Punit. I belong to the Queen of Hills – Shimla, but made to work in Gurgaon. I work for a lead Construction company as Planning Manager. My interests include driving, reading, watching TV series, playing Video games (actually that was before I got married), travelling etc.

The cars my family have:
Maruti 800 EX ( Back in 1999, there were 3 variants - Standard, EX and LX) – Cyprus Blue color.
Alto LX- 2005 model, till date 1.4 Lac KM on odometer and still going strong. Color – Pearl Silver
Wagon R VXi with ABS – Blue eyed boy.

Latest acquisition:
Chevrolet Sail LS ABS Tcdi – I call it my Jahaaz. 7 months young and 13K KM on odometer.
My Pride possession: LML NV 2 Stroke Scooter 1992 Model.

Here are few pics of my Jahaaz

Re: Hello from the Queen of Hills!

Hi,

Welcome on board. I'm also new to this forum and I also come from the hills. My location is Tura, Meghalaya, yes, the state that gets the heaviest rainfall in the world ! We also follow the matrilineal society, I am now living in my father-in-law's house after getting married ! Strange to you, but in our society, girls are welcome as they get to stay in the house and the boys are booted out after getting married ! Liked your "Jahaaz" and look forward to more posts. Cheers

I can relate to your feeling buddy. Actually the joy of getting through in Team Bhp is no less than cracking a tough interview or getting through an entrance examination. A year back i reacted the same way you reacted toady! Wish you a pleasant stay at Team Bhp. I bet you will enjoy every moments over here. And not to mention you really do have a nice set of wheels.

Welcome to Team Bhp mate. Wish you an awesome stay over here. Good to see two new Bhpians from two different parts of the Himalayan territory. Some how i am always addicted to the Himalayas and it felt nice to see both of you from that region.
