i came , i saw, i conquered .....my fears , at TBHP

booken an lx as found the vx n0ot value for money and the ex did nox excite me cos the extras like ICE and others would eventually be done after market to personal tastes.

Always wanted to buy the safari, and yes the price cut did help.... a lot
cheers

Hey i2i, welcome to Team-BHP and to the Safari Club
Congtratualtions on your new car. Let us know when it gets delivered.
Do a complete PDI with the dealer when you take delivery. Will help to avoid minor irritants later on.

There have been threads on parking sensors earlier, but I cant remember one on rear camera/display..

The Safari Gurus ( yourself and steeroid ) can now give me pointers on what to look for in detail/ minutely during the PDI of the safari.

Thanks a lot again

Cool..
BTW, did you go for a 4x4?

During PDI, look for pretty much everything that can be removed and fitted back in the interiors and engine bay.. I have had things like: AC vents left loose, battery cable loose, TC hose loose, etc.. Check for rattling/squeaking noises in your test drive.. Check all electricals are working..

Also, I would recommend you to get the extended warranty.. guarantees you future peace of mind..

Hope you get it in time for the next Blr TBHP meet (check the Meets thread) and can make it there..

i2i, try go soon after lunch, so you have a couple of hours of daylight to check the vehicle. Do a full visual inspection bumper to bumper, and also inside. Also kneel down when checking the lower half - so what ever you see, you should be seeing it at eye-level. Check that everything is working.

Any thing that needs attention, have it recorded somewhere - even if you are not going to get a replacement at this time. Just in case something isnt the way it should be, and it gets worse later, it will be helpful if it is on record.
