Hi from a young old timer

Hi,

I am a 30 yr old settled at Bangalore and drive a '97 contessa classic petrol. Have been a speed freak all my life but have stayed away from the race tracks as the open roads are a lot more fun to play around with your car.

Hi Guys,

I do not only own a Conti but also a '96 esteem, but yes it's true that the conti is my car any day...

The car has been modded but I am not completely satisfied with it as yet. The mods done till now are:

1) Increased Compression by phasing the head.
2) Changed the carb which will again be changed this week to a Solex 4 barrel - free air intake (Have cut open the damn air filter cover for more airflow)
3) Changed the rims to 15' BMW with 15*215*65 goodyear conquest imports (It has been a nightmare to get the right wheel alignment)
4) Full free flow - yet to add headers
5) Lightened the crank
6) Stiffened the rocker springs
7) Changed the entire suspension to harden, weird had to use the TATA Estate front coils and the Merc's rear to get the right balance.
8) Platinum Plugs

I do realise the car is still along way from completion till someone decides to hike my sal

Havent put up the pics yet will do when I think the cars ready to go on... line

That sounds like one helluva Indian muscle car. I am surprised Rudra hasnt yet replied since his 1.8 Isuzu is undergoing modifications too
