Hi friends,

Firstly I would like to wish every Indian a very Happy Independence Day.
Coming to my introduction, here it goes.

If someone was asked to define me, I would be glad to hear the words, a true car enthusiast by heart. I am a techie by profession working with a Consulting firm in Ecospace, Bangalore and aged 22. Basically I am from Coorg and have spent most of my time in Mangalore and Bangalore.

Apart from the four wheeled machines, I share my interest in photography, and my DSLR always occupies space at the backseat. I think that the best phase of my life was when my dad started his venture of teaching me how to drive in his Gypsy. Eventually I got my driving licence at the age of 18 and till date have driven close to 25,000 Kms safely.

It’s a great feeling to be part of this prestigious community of like-minded people. I must say that this forum was extremely helpful to understand various aspects of Hybrid Cars because my final year Engineering project dealt with building one. The car that we made participated in Formula Hybrid, US and we were placed well in the competition.

Cars my family has owned till date are, 1998 Maruti Gypsy and 2006 Maruti Gypsy King HT (both sold), presently using a 2012 Hyundai i20 Sportz (P) and 2014 Alto 800 Vxi.

Hey kp1992,

Welcome to Team-BHP. Good to hear that you have driven all those kms safely and congrats on your hybrid build.

Like you, many others here are love photography. You shouldn't have sold the Gypsys though - they are Team-BHP off-road favourites. :)

See you on the forum.

Thank you Aditya. We still regret the decision, as our visits to Coorg haven't been the same after selling the Gypsys. The sheer thrill of its ability to gobble up the ghat sections indeed makes it an off-road favourite. agree:

Welcome on board kp1992. Nice to have another Kodava onboard.

As the saying in TBHP goes, "do not count your posts but make them count".

All the very best

KPS

Thank you sir.

Its my pleasure to be in the company of fellow enthusiasts. Glad to know that you too hail from my native place.

Regards
