Team-BHP - Hello everybody!

Hello! I am Nipon, a general physician based in Kolkata. I love my profession. I earned my M.B.B.S. degree from North Bengal Medical College, Siliguri, in 2012. During my internship in 2011, I was interviewed by News Time when I had to escort a trauma a patient to Kolkata. After completing my internship, I returned home in 2012 and joined Sambhunath Pandit Hospital as a Housesurgeon. Now I practice independently as a general practitioner. I had attended St. Lawrence High School for schooling.

Automotive
I am very new to the car scene. I had been following Team-bhp irregularly over past few years and even signed up once in 2009. I had heard about the website from a senior, who is a doctor from Siliguri and a proud owner of a Fiat T-jet linea. I got hooked to the website only recently when I decided to buy a car, and now I am addicted. :)

My first car is the new Alto K10 AMT bought only last month. I drive myself and my latest hobby is car detailing.

Hobbies

I am an avid reader. My favourite author is Amitava Ghosh. I also enjoy travelling in my leisure. Darjeeling remains my all-time favourite travel destination. I dabbled with the Tabla for some years in school. My favourite sports is Table Tennis, I became the college champion in the singles event of the table tennis tournament in 2011.

I am a self taught geek and a DIY enthusiast. I have been designing my own websites since school days. I have been mentioned in the Wikipedia and কালের কণ্ঠ for my involvement with OmicronLab - developer of the a widely popular cross-platform Bengali typing software. I was also featured on the Mozilla Blog during the Mozilla Service Week 2009.

Nice, the Alto K10 AMT is one heck of a city car. We just took our review live last week. Would be great if you can add your observations there, and also share an ownership report for the benefit of others :)
