It’s been great to be part of this community. Been checking out this forum for quite a few years and it did come handy more than once. I’m basically from Coimbatore but have been moving around quite a bit. At the moment I’m living in Chennai. I’ve always been fascinated about automobiles from my childhood and it never faded away. Having grown up in a city that is crazy for automobiles had its share as well. I enjoy long drives, meeting new people and outdoor activities.

I am a mechanical engineer by education, IT professional by profession.

My previous rides: Honda Civic, BMW 325 Coupe, MM 540, Maruti Zen, Skoda Octavia TDI

Current rides: Maruti Swift & Honda City

You're right, down South people surely are very passionate about their automobiles. Proof: look at this thread. Your previous (and current) rides surely qualify as those for enthusiasts. At some point or other, I have longed for these cars (owned the Zen for a while too). I see that your in love with your City (from your profile); you have the new one or the Type 1??

Thanks for your warm welcome note. It's 2nd Gen City. Not an enthusiast’s car, but it has its own charm :-)
