Hello from Scotland

Hello all

Big time team-bhp fan, daily reader.

Don't get a lot of time to post stuff, but a bit free tonight so thought of saying hello.

Been living in Aberdeen for over 10 years. Big BMW fan.

Started with a '06 318d, then '08 330d Coupe, then '09 635d, then '11 X6 40d and since the last month 640d Gran Coupe which I am loving it ! All in Alpine White ( favorite color ) !

See photo of the gran coupe attached.
Speced up to my choice, had to wait 4 months but worth the wait.

Spec :

20"M wheels painted black
Bang and Olufsen sound system upgrade
Head up display
Front/Back/Steering wheel heated
Privacy glasses in the back
Keyless entry
BMW Remote ( lets you turn on ventilation from your phone )
Multifunction display instead of the usual needles.

Anyways, its really a pleasure to read all sections of team-bhp.

? All of us would love to see the review of 640d.

Welcome on board. I love the Gran Coupe looks but I was very disappointed with the M6 GC on track (I was expecting too much from what is not a track car!)

Welcome to Team BHP, mate.

Even though I prefer the CLS, I do like the way the Grancoupe looks.

As JoseVijay said, please do post an ownership review, a lot of BHPians will be looking forward to that.

One question: what is that board tied to the back of the car in the fourth pic?

Welcome to TBHP. Good history of cars you got. But I have a question on your 640's wheels. Are those wheels Photoshopped? The calipers are in different directions. Am I missing something here?

That sure is PSed. Single Alloy pasted on two wheels on both sides.

The last 2 photos were Photoshopped because originally the alloys are silver.
So the BMW Genius Photoshopped them just to give me a rough idea of how it will look once its done in black !
