Hello Everyone

I'm a 26-years old Mechanical Engineer working in Steel Industry.

I've been a long-time lurker on these forums, finally decided to join in. Found the information here very useful, helped me plan a few of my trips.

I own a 2007- model Civic and a RE Continental GT which I picked up last year. I love to travel, I do a trip and I start planning for the next one. I did a Bhutan tour in June and just returned from a rather disastrous trip from Leh. I'll share those experiences when I can.

It's dangerous to be bitten by the travel bug. Once bitten, it's difficult to stay away from the road. I'm extremely fond of travelling myself.

We'd love to read about your experiences. Hope the Leh trip was not too bad.

Trust you have gone through Team-BHP's posting rules.

See you on the forum.

See you on the forum.
The trip was a disaster. We tried to rush it through a bit, trying to do as much as we can in a limited period of time. Bad move.

My friend got hit by AMS, severely. I had to check him into hospital and they kept him under observation overnight. The next day, we had to abandon the whole thing and fly back to Delhi.

May be I'll put up a thread detailing what we did wrong. It may help someone from a different perspective, something like How not to plan a Leh trip.

Welcome to the forum Vivek!!

I am also from Ranchi.
Nice to see increasing TBHP membership from this small city, looks like a mini TBHP meet is soon going to happen :-)

Thank You Sir. I wouldn't have guessed there are too many TBhpians in Ranchi. Although I did see some cars with the T-Bhp stickers on them in the city.

Looking forward to any T-Bhp meet here. Have any such meets happened before?

First of all, please don't "Sir" me
I have just passed out of an engineering college.

Definitely not a full blown meet like the ones we read about on our forum, but we BHPians from Ranchi do try to meet whenever we get free time.

Looking forward to meet you

Re: Hello Everyone

Welcome to the forum Vivek Sir!
I am also from Ranchi, presently studying in Kolkata for my higher studies. It's good to see the increasing numbers of Ranchi BHPians. As you're saying you have seen many vehicles having TBHP stickers, I hope you've seen a silver '04 Alto with TBHP stickers(Please say Yes! ), that's mine. There is one more BHPian in Ranchi who owns a '07 Honda Civic, looks like a mini meet is due when I come to Ranchi during my Durga Puja vacations.
Hope to meet you soon and wish you happy miles with the TBHP family.

Regards,
Swapnil
