Hello Everyone!

Hello team,

I am Dr. Naren, a regular visitor of team bhp forum. Today I am proud to be a Bhpian. A big thank you to moderators for letting me be a part of community. I own 2011 sx4 diesel, 2013 grand i10 diesel and 2015 Baleno petrol. I am planning to post ownership reports of my cars soon. I will start off with my Baleno and long term review of my sx4 which had so many issues. Looking forward to share, discuss and join in the fun.
Cheers!!

Welcome abroad. Look forward to your Baleno experience and SX4 saga!

What made you go with Maruti again?

re: Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to hearing your experiences. Surprising to hear you had a lot of issues with your SX4. Not a car one normally associates major issues with. I had a pre-owned Sx4 for 2 years.

And thanks for sharing the Baleno Boosterjet vs Polo TSI testing scoop

I bought sx4 diesel in 2011 and driven 95000 kms. I had got turbocharger, entire gearbox replaced under warranty. I got Petes remap at 90k kms and then got it back to stock and opted for Wolf remap last week (when I spotted turbo baleno petrol in kochi). Thought my sx4 had several issues, Maruti service has addressed then promptly.

Dr. Naren,

Welcome aboard Sir!

I'm also sailing in boat of "Niggles with Sx4", where in I replaced have multiple components under warranty like Water Pump, wheel bearings, synchro rings etc, yet very much adore the car. I still feel its the most practical car in its own segment.

Looking forward for your review.

Yes, I second that. Sx4 is like made for Indian roads. It is one of the well built maruti thanks to the body design by Fiat.
