Hi,
I'm from London and am will be working in Mumbai for a few years.

Have just bought a '91 Padmini so will be looking to pick
some brains on here for tips on how to squeeze some power out of it.

Unfortunatly had to leave the Mustang ('65 Fastback 289, daily driver) back in the UK, kind of glad now as I don't think it would have survived long here. I'll post some pics once I've worked out how.

Tim.

Hey there 65Mustang.. welcome to India and the forum.. in that order.
Might I ask this question.. WHY THE PADMINI?? Has it got something to do with Nostalgia and all that other kind of bullhickey?
Too bad about the 'stang... would have been wicked seeing it here.
Cheers.

Thanks for the welcome.
Went for a Padmini cos it was cheap, easy to maintain, pretty and I like older cars.
Should get my hands on it Sunday first things first it'll be getting a re-spray. Could be a challenge getting 250hp out of it though.

I second 2L8uLoose here!! But I think the only way for you to get 250 hp out our old Paddu would be to get your Mustang's 289 & plonk it in. Should be fun seeing a Paddu go with that engine!!

BTW welcome to India & Team-BHP 65Mustang, have fun & make sure to read the rules in the announcement section!

Anyhow I think this topic deserves its own thread...

Why weld? Throw all the openable items out!!! Who needs doors on a Paddu anyway Rest bolt on a WRC grade Roll cage & Tata 207 suspension!! Should work wonders I tell you!!

On a serious note yes this discussion deserves its own thread, so who's opening it? You?
