Your name says it all.
You are a veteran of every thing; war, rally, adventure, engineering and what not.
Your introduction would make everyone so proud of you.
Big Salute to you, sir.

Look forward to reading about your vast experiences on the road and off it too, do share them.

Dear Behram Dhabhar, I had participated in the 1984 and '85 Himalayan Rallies. I will definitely look at the thread as suggested.

Welcome aboard, sir. What a career you have had/are having. Look forward to reading your various experiences - this forum surely offers enough breadth to talk about all your diverse interests
Dear mallumowgli, The tragedy at the Munich Olympics was one of the first large scale terrorist attacks. What emerged was an unbeatable spirit wherein a decision was taken to continue the Games notwithstanding the trauma.

And welcome to the forum, would be lovely having an amazing personality (the text of your first post in bold) like yours here!
Thanks alpha1, Looking forward to new experiences!

Re: A happy veteran on Team-BHP!

Dear friends,

Thanks for your comments, and am sorry to remain incommunicado for 10 days!

As you would soon see, a lot of water has flown in this time.

My son purchased a Lexus LX 470 (there are now two of these now in our family) and I did a road trip from San Francisco to Seattle immediately on 20 June. We went on an Alaskan cruise: Seattle - Juneau - Skagway - Tracy Arm Fjord - Victoria - Seattle over 8 days.

On a last minute impulse we drove from Seattle to Vancouver for a 1 ½ day trip. And then returned this morning at 4 am after driving @ 1600 kms in a day from Vancouver - San Francisco bay area

Been a memorable trip.

Safe driving!

Vijai
