Finally in

Hello Team-BHPians,

My approval came through today, and it has made me a happy person. I am a retired Shippie, was 35 years at sea.

I drive a Tata Manza, from 10/2011, its my 5th car. My earlier ones were an Amby, Uno,
Indigo Ls, Vista aura, in that order.

I have been following Team BHP for a very long time and somehow really never got around to joining the forum due to my busy days while I was on leave. Now that I have hung up my boots I have plenty of time and road trips are my passion among other things. I have a great interest in aircrafts, Ships and UFO’s.

A big thank you to the Team BHP moderators.

Ram Kumar

Very competent sedan for its time. I was thoroughly impressed after testing it. How has she treated you over the years?

Congratulations and welcome!

Were your 35 years at sea with the Indian Navy or Merchant Navy? Brief of the ships (pics as well, if possible) you've sailed would be nice too.

Re: Finally in

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in replying, i was on a road trip (temple run) to Trichy & Tiruvanamalai, came back only yesterday.
I was in the merchant navy. Yes i do have lots of pictures, in fact i have a very unusual one wherein the sea froze up on deck due the extreme low temperatures, on my way to Tianjin in china, in 2013, i think. My memory escapes me. where should i post those pictures, Admin can you help me out here, thanks.

Wow, would love to see pics of your adventures on the sea and road.

Interest in UFOs, sounds like you are one of the believers.
