Hello Team-BHP.. am glad to be here

I recently upgraded from Bikes to Cars... always thought bikes are an expression of freedom and Cars are the reaction to familyhood. So one day me and my wife were riding on our bike(pulsar 180 2006 dec)... and it started pouring...i had never seen that kindda rain in Hyderabad.... the roads were flooded with 4 feet deep water and we were caught up in traffic for hours in that rain...that day we promised each other that never again we d go through this and the next week we bought our first car... our lovely black Ford Icon...its been 4 months since and i am discovering new things about my car...I still love my bike and still nothing beats the feeling of watery eyes and wind in the hair at 120kmph.. but driving my car at 2 in the night on deserted city roads comes real close...
in my book...Schumacher could never be Rossi but i ve a newfound respect for cars now... and would drive as long as i live.
For my intro....I an Ansh and i m 27 yrs old...live in Hyderabad currently..kal ka pata nahin....and i love being a part of Team-BHP community...am sure i would learn new things and get a chance to share and debate views.

Is your surname Bajaj? How did you get hold of this bike?

Looks like you don't like wearing helmets.
Please don't use bold or underlining unless absolutely essential. Have a pleasant stay.

Thanks for the welcome Viper...but since you asked a few questions...i would like to answer those...
1.My name is not Bajaj but its OUR bike because WE paid for it and bought it...the WE refers to me and my wife..its a term used for families..i m sure you would understand... the mistake was when i typed 2006 instead of 2005(i apologise for that)its the same way u use the name viper and i am sure either you OWN or a fan of the DODGE VIPER(i didnt question your INTELLIGENCE when i read your posts before i introduced myself)
2. I used the underlining as i wanted to emphasize certain sentences/words. There wasn't a single bold word there...so i am sure i m not confusing/bothering fellow Team-BHPians.
3. When i said watery eyes- i meant watery eyes through your helmet. at 120 kmph with your visor open, you would definitely have watery eyes..please try it if you are not convinced and wind in the hair motoring is a FIGURE OF SPEECH...We could use it for open top motoring(motorcycles, convertibles etc)
I am sure you would take this in the right spirit as i took your statements.
You may have been here for a long time but please dont use that to insult others. Not every new entrant is a novice....a lot of them know what they talk about.

Hey bro,
welcome aboard and enjoy your stay here.
I think V1p3r was just trying to break the ice saying that you must be Mr Bajaj or someone similar as you mentioned that you had an 06 Dec Pulsar instead of an 05 one.
Cheers

hey young_icon, welcome to Tbhp. I also used to be wind in the hair love bikes kinda guy in Bangalore. But all it took were 15 stray dogs and a back problem to rediscover cars!
After that its no looking back, and I am a car guy to the core.
