An introduction after 10 years!

Sometimes I wonder on seeing all these tutorials in the internet about clearing the TBAT (Team BHP Admission Test), how a non automobile enthusiast like me, ever got in here. The only reason I could think of is that it may be because I stated upfront to the powers be that who evaluated my application what my real interests are !

I trained and indeed qualified as a Chemical Engineer, but my first love "Airline Time Tables" just would not accept the situation. So off I went- for a management degree or two and settled in into a most enjoyable career in the commercial side of air travel.

Yes I do occasionally drive a car and once upon a time I loved riding that old war horse, the long gone Kinetic Honda. But to be honest, my school going son knows far more than me on matters automotive, One day in the not so far ahead future, subject to the authorities here permitting, I hope to bequeath my precious Team-BHP membership to my son. I am sure he will make far more better use of the treasure trove of information this forum is than I have been able to do.

I do contribute occasionally here in Team-BHP , mainly on threads on aviation safety , another abiding interest of mine . I have also written a few travelogues (most people- and I would not disagree- would better describe it as "information pamphlets") about my wanderings on public transport off the beaten track , mostly by boats in my home state of Kerala , an eccentricity my family has got resigned to.

So did you do the Chemical Engineering in TKM? I see your handle and always read it as TKM College of Engineering subconsciously.

Yes .. I under estimated the awareness of brand TKM in Team BHP when I created the handle. Very unworthy of me !
