Hello guys,

"your membership has been approved", this notification came to me as a breath of fresh after a really monotonous day. I have been following team-bhp since 2014 and it has become my one stop solution for any automobile related query.
I am persuing by B.Tech in Electronics and Communications and currently in my final semester. I have been living in Guwahati since my childhood and am obsessed with cars all my life. My hobbies include science, technology, photography, music and travelling.
The cars we owned(rather my father owned) are
1. 2000 Maruti 800 STD(2000-2003)
2. 2004 Hyundai Santro Xing XE(2004-2017)
3. 2016 Hyundai Elite i20 Asta(2016-present)
I would like to thank the mods for accepting my membership request and hope to learn from various members in this forum.

Assam in general and Gauhati specifically, holds a special place for me. We spent 7 good years there during the '80s and we bought our first car (an M800) in '85 from Bimal Auto, Gauhati. Good old days.

Hello JD_404,

I 100% relate to your thread name "My days of lurking around are finally over". I also have been "lurking around" T-BHP since 2009 and officially a member only since the last 2 days. Team BHP helped me with making a decision when I was looking at buying the Honda Jazz in 2009. In fact it was Sheel Sir's ownership review of the Scorpio which propelled me to buy my own Scorpio in 2016.

I owe a lot to this community, and I'm looking forward to contribute to this group.

Really nice to see new members from Guwahati. Maybe we can have our own T-BHP meet in the future if there are sizeable members from this part of the country.
