Hello folks

Hello,

Happy to be part of this awesome community.

Thank you for having me here. Got my membership approved in the 3rd go.
First attempt was like 10 years ago. Back then, I was a kid with a fascination for cars, now am still a kid with a fascination for cars. Kidding. Can't be called a kid anymore.

I work at Rapid Circle Pune and am an amateur bike(cycle) racer at team Pune Wolfpack. So, most of my time goes in between work and training.

My love with forums started around 2006. I just love the format of forums which results in a good discussion. Have been lurking around Team-BHP from 2010 I think, mostly for car reviews.

I am a member of forum Techenclave. Techenclave has had a huge contribution to my life. I have many life long friends from that forum including the ones with whom I have started working.
Few members jumping to Team-BHP also increased my urge to join here. eg: Was always impressed by Gannu's( Hi @Gannu) tech review at Techenclave, was amazing to see Gannu write about his Polo here.

I still don't own a car. Am still on my 10 year old motorcycle. Reason being most of the transportation is done on bike (cycle). I always wanted to have track focused motorcycle like the KTM RC390 or Yamaha R15. But then my mileage on the motorcycle is very less compared to my mileage on the bike. The motorcycle won't be used that much. It's only the rainy season that makes me use my motorcycle.
For my fitness at racing, I use office commutes as part of training apart from the training rides.
Economy wise, the only time I think of owning a car is how it would help me drive to the race start with my bike.

My dad owns a Celerio Automatic which I drive sometimes. Another car which I have driven for long is a friend's Polo. The most I've enjoyed driving is Go-kart on a race track.
I have a driving simulator setup consisting Logitech G27 Racing wheel setup. The game I like the most for simulation is Assetto Corsa. It's mind-boggling how real life it feels to drive on the setup!

My interests include Technology, Rock Climbing, Photography, and DIY.

Thank you.

Not sure what exactly did you meant by more.
As part of road races, road raced could be mass start or Time Trials.

Here is a link to my strava page: https://www.strava.com/athletes/5015904. Strava is one of the platforms which I use for tracking my rides/training.

Sud, welcome aboard dude!

Glad to have you here. Great intro too! I've been following your cycling feats on Facebook. Man, you've toned down like crazy! There are a few threads in the Shifting Gears section which will keep you hooked!

Here're a few to get you started:

The Bicycles thread

The Official non-auto Image thread

Gear for the Serious Amateur Photographer

Hope to bump into you on some of the discussions here. Kauzy's here too but I guess work's keeping him occupied these days.

You must be training under Michael, wow. Please share your experiences in 'Bicycles thread' once in a while.

Unlike you, most folks here will use the term 'bike' for motorcycle. Please be explicit depending on which section/thread you post.

Thank you.
Yes, we used to train under Mikey. Currently, we are not training under him, as he no longer stays in India.

Have attaching a few images from races.
