Hii T-BHPians.., Guys i am Jose Thomas from Cochin(Palarivattom) doing my degree in Hotel & Hospitality Management. I have an Esteem and a Pulsar 150. I am also planning to buy an Opel Astra. I cam across T-BHP when searching google for owner reviews on cars. But now i am addicted to this site. I feel like everyone in here is like a crazy car & bike family. I love this site very much.. I will try to make my friends members as soon as i can.. Members from Cochin are just a few.. Thats going to change.

Welcome, buddy! I stay near Kaloor. And there are quite a few of us here in Kochi. And we do meet up most weekends. Nothing set for this weekend, though. I'll let you know when we all meet-up next.

Hi jose, Astra is a good choice of car, nicely built & gives you a good ride. you can find one easily in cochin or kottayam. I sold mine an year back for less than 2 lakhs which was a 98 model. I suggest you look for an Astra club and mind you, go for it only if you have that dollars to maintain it even though it will not trouble you every now & then. Otherwise ikon 1.6 will be a good choice.
