Hi - This is Vijay

I have been wanting to connect with gearheads like me ... Am nuts about anything with an internal combustion engine and wheels in even numbers..

Looking to move back to bangalore from Atlanta in a couple of months

Hi and welcome to Team-BHP.
Hope you have a nice time here.

We'd like to know a bit more of yourself and especially as you're in Atlanta now, your rides there etc..

Have a great time here bro!

Details about me

I am an account manager with a large Indian IT company. Currently in Atlanta, planning to return to Bangalore in a couple of months.

My current rides here are:
2003 Nissan Maxima SE . 3.5l V6 255bhp, 6 speed manual transmission
2002 Honda CB919 Hornet, 919cc inline 4 110bhp, 6 speed -(bringing back home)
2002 VW Beetle GLX, 2.0l inline 4 115bhp, 5 speed manual transmission
2000 Toyota Sienna XLE, 3.0l V6, 194bhp, 4 speed auto transmission

My rides in Bangalore:
1989 Premier Padmini - will never part with this one... If I can , might plonk in a VQ30 under its hood..
2002 Honda Activa

Rides I have owned:
1992 Enfield Bullet 350 standard to have sold it
1992 Honda CB750 Nighthawk
1991 Honda Accord
1990 Mazda 626
1987 Maruti Omni
1998 Maruti Zen

Used to mod my Zen and my bullet a lot.. Sticking to stock these days..And to sane speed.. Prefer g forces during acceleration over top end .

Motto in life - Nothing is black and white, just shades of gray

snaronikar,

The maxima makes 246 lb-ft of torque..Have not dynoed it ever.. It makes a lot more power than I can really use

easily gets to 55 mph on first gear if I floor it have hit 125 mph at max.. It happened when I was driving alongside a 540i who had a radar detector ..too expensive if I get caught at anywhere close to that.
