Hey, fellow gearheads and car connoisseurs!

I'm your friendly neighbourhood petrol-head, a spunky 35-year-old from the charming city of Ranchi.

Amidst the bustle of this small town, my garage boasts a squad of : Honda City, Citroen C3, Fiat Linea, and Maruti Baleno.

Whether it's a joyride on ring road, a grocery run for daily chores, or an expedition to Goa, having control of the wheel and pressing the pedal to the metal makes me ecstatic. And my co-pilots —my automobile-enthusiast husband (with his eyes on road and hands on handbrakes) and our pint-sized protégé, our daughter (with Autocar on her lap), add to the fun we have on roads! We're the dream team of family road trips, where the car becomes our four-wheeled chariot of memories and mischief.

Beyond the thrill of driving, I love to read and know about cars. My daughter has picked this from me and she just cant wait to be a BHPian now.

I am glad to have been allowed to join this uproarious jaunt of engines and laughter. I wish everyone here a cruise through life with a laughter-filled tank and a gearshift set to pure awesomeness!

See you all in the forum!

PS: my husband does not know I am a BHPian now, he will be so jealous !! I am so waiting to tell him this :p

Hi,

Nice little multi-brand collection. I used to love the Linea. It was one of the best looking cars to be sold in India. I enjoyed its stability and handling too.

I understand what you mean. I too enjoy every drive - long or short. And it's always more fun with the family.

The more you learn the better you get when it comes to driving and maintaining cars.

Welcome once again. See you on the forum.

Welcome to TBHP :)

That's quite an introduction and the dream team is even better.
Looking forward to your posts and perspective on the forum.

See you around.

Hello Turbogirl!

Welcome on board the Team-BHP forum. This is a fantastic place for meeting fellow turboheads, and I am sure you will enjoy being here.

Though the forum is male-majority because traditionally driving was a male thing, men here are very objective and awesome. You will have ample support in learning and driving, as well as, queries and support that goes above and beyond driving.

Tell us how this goes lol: I am sure that for a man, who sits next to you keeping an eye out on the road, he will be utterly proud. And I am sure he will join you here soon as well.

I am not supposed to favour any particular gender joining this forum, but the number that just 11 percent of women in India drive, has stuck in an uncanny way, and so I am happy that a woman joins the forum.

I am based out of Kolkata - but was in Jamshedpur yesterday. The next time that either of us travels to each other's cities, I am looking forward to catching up.

Once again, a warm welcome!

Cheers
Sukanya

You are from city for which I would move heaven and earth to be in! I have spent good five years in the city while studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya Fort Williams and have always cursed my dad's transfer from there. I have good memories of my childhood from this city. We sometime stay in Kharagpur during our travels, so not too far if Bhpians are meeting in Kolkata and I am around :). By the way say hello to Peter Cat!

I also see your location as New Delhi. If that is still the case, I can be found at Faridabad for good part of the year. Lets catch up at next TBHP meet or anytime sooner.

Jamshedpur - we have our friends and relatives there. We have quite a number of meeting points, it seems.

I am just getting hang of the rules, so I request moderators to please edit this reply if something is against rules.
