This is Saumil here @ t-bhp from Mumbai - 27 yrs. Self employed business - Cement stockists & distributors.

I dont have much knowledge about tuning and modifying like many of you, I am trying to learn as days go by. Always Been Honda fan. At present own Honda City Vtec ZX. Just got K&N performance filter and Automech custom free flow exhaust. Would like to learn more about how to mod my ride.

Welcome aboard, Saumil. Here over to this thread (ARTICLE: How to Modify / Tune your car) for all the information you need on tuning your car further. But first things first...you need to upgrade the rubber on your Vtec. From the owners I have spoken to, the NHC Vtec is hopelessly under-tyred from the factory.

Please do also read the board rules to get familiar with the Team-BHP protocol.

@ GTO : I have stock 14" alloy wheels with stock bridgestone tyres 185.

I also spoke to Vivek @ Automech after gettin the free flow done (Coz everytime i shift from 1st to the 2nd gear - the tyres screech) - he said if i m not goin rev it up to the red line i dont need to change the tyres.

what do you suggest? New wheels & tyres? if yes which tyres?

Sorry about the info on the tyres - i have Goodyear 175 stock & not as mentioned in the above post.
