Hi! My introduction and about my new Tata Indigo LS(face lifted version)

hi,
i am a car lover since child hood and Long Drives and Speed Thrills me.
i own a 2000 model atlantic blue baleno and recently purchased indigo ls (in replacement of my tata indica)

I came across Team BHP while looking for reviews on Indigo Dicor. I was more interested on Indigo Dicor Ls model. I did get any conclusive review of the same and decided to go for the old horse (TCIC) Version.

I of the reason for going for Indigo is the New Looks they have given and value for money (Rs 4,97,000 Ex Delhi).

I didnt find a sedan in this range(Under 6 Lac), had to settle for this.

More over i didnt feel justified to spend another 37K for Dicor with same specification 70ps and 140Nm torque.

Key Features of new facelift Indigo

1. Colors - Mica Grey - Looks good

2. Improved Bumper (Old indigo had a black strip running, which has been removed.

3. Beige Interiors

4. New Steering Wheel

5. new look console

6. Good Crome Touch on Front and Back Grills.

7. Leather capped gear knob.

I also opted for 185 r 14 good year tube less tyres.
This is what i could initially observe.
Will keep posted my experiance on indigo time to time.

You own Baleno and Indigo? Quite a contrasting combination I must say.
Congrats on the new purchase and welcome to the forum!

What's the aspect ratio of your tyres? 65 I guess. I saw an Indigo with 185/70/13 and there was very little space between the front tyres and the front bumper. So, 70 profile on 185/14 would probably be impossible.

hi,
the original tyres it comes is 175/65 R14, in put 185/65 R14.
Indigo at under 5.5 lac and with a daily running of 110 to 130 kms per day thers is no other alternative.

A 1000 Rupee in indigo will be giving me 400+ kms and baleno will only touch 250 - 280kms.

Not allowed in a post, as per the FAQ.
Would need to be a link, I think.
