Hello team,

I have been inducted into the membership today and I thought I should give my thanks and start with my introduction.

So thanks Team-BHP for getting me in the circle.

I have been reading the forum posts for quite some time and I must say the energy, involvement, priceless information and guidance which the forum members give is on another level. Really helps others to make informed decisions.

I'm 53, a Bombay-ite, now retired and taking things easy. I was in the family business of trucking all these years but that's behind me now.

We've owned and I've driven an Ambassador (bought second hand by Dad, in fact learnt to drive on the Amby), a Fiat Premier Padmini, Maruti Alto, Maruti Zen Estilo, Swift Diesel, Skoda Rapid, Hyundai i10 Nios, Creta 2016 Diesel Auto (still going strong with 74000 on the odo) and soon to be a proud owner of a VW Tiguan. Hopefully should be getting the delivery on 3rd October.

Note: I had finalized the exchange of my Creta while booking the Tiguan. But somehow was not very comfortable to part with it so soon. I've gotten so attached to it. So exchanged the i10 instead.

I'm looking forward to gaining lots more from this forum.

Good to know that the forum has been of help to you. Since BHPians come from diverse backgrounds and work in almost every field, one can get help not just on the topic of automobiles, but almost any matter.

Interesting indeed. While you have retired, I am sure you will be able to contribute immensely to our commercial vehicles forum.

Quite a long list that! Wish you many happy years of motoring with the Tiguan. It's quite a good SUV to drive.
