Hi Folks !

Hi Folks,

I have joined this forum recently and am amazed at the wonderful spirit and affability that pervades the air here.
More so, when it comes to having things to do with automobiles.

I love the experience of driving around and it is many many lakh kilometres done over the years and pounds of dust inhaled into the lungs traversing the length and the breadth of this country. Gone through a whole lot of cars over the years.

Currently I am based in Cochin in Kerala and my driving is confined to a car. Used to ride motor cycles but then a horse riding accident and a bad back put an end to that. Right now I have a Opel Astra which I still use on a regular basis for all drives.

Other then that my work is in the financial markets and my major time is spent on trying to take decent photographs which if you ever have the urge to see can be seen on the public forum at flickr. Just google the current nick.

Wow. Those are some nice photos. Are you a professional photographer? Are those HDR'd?

There are lots of people from kerala, especially EKM here.

I just checked the "Ezee As Hell" profile and there are sure some awesome photography. Loved the monsoon pic out of your D300. Beautiful!

Thanks for having a look. There are some old HDRs there though for the last 2 years hardly any. That said, I do use Photoshop to increase the dynamic range of the photograph.

Srijith no this is not an HDR at all. I confine my photography to lovely light days, if that is possible. This was shot on a stretch of a few glorious days of immaculate light that we had a few days ago. That said, you still have to eke out the best from the available data that is there for an image and doll it up a bit. I prefer a plain photo out of a camera with no inbuilt curves or adjustments. Prefer to do the finishing myself on a photo editor. I always shoot RAW plus jpeg as the RAw images do have tonnes of pixel data.

Well the light is back to mucky now and I guess it will be like this for a few months now. Cochin is bad, I don't know how TVM is ?
