Are you thinking what I知 thinking

Automobiles. It all started with automobiles. My fascination for these mechanical marvels has not diminished with time. It all started with a Fiat (not the Premiere Padmini and not that I have anything against this and yes, we eventually acquired one) that my father had. Lots of fond memories there.

Moving on, I had to follow the path of progression. Started college on an IND-Suzuki. As I was too puny for this bike, moved on to an Explorer. Big mistake. Finally ended college in a Kinetic Honda. Ofcourse, living in a joint family, I was the glorified chauffer for all my aunts for their vegetable shopping and hence a scooter was the popular choice (obviously, I had none)

Moved on to grad school and got my first car there. A Mazda 323 sedan. I truly enjoyed this car and put in a lot of miles with a lot of friends. Fast forwarding to present, I passed thru 2 M800s (VFM), Zen (Passion yellow and one of the best cars I致e had), Esteem (met with a crash because the booster assisted brakes failed and so did my trust in Maruti), Ford Escort (endurance personified), Matiz (had to part with the beauty because I was concerned about the spares after Daewoo sale), Scorpio (and just to be doubly sure that Indian companies could actually manufacture quality SUVs, sold the old Scorpio and bought a new one; Fantastic road presence), a Ford Ikon (I have a feeling that the gas tank opens a channel to a Black Hole; can anyone please confirm). Common sense has hence prevailed.

Presently own a Logan (the common sense part) besides the above mentioned gas guzzler (nobody is perfect) and drive an R15 (common sense without passion would make no sense).

What goes around, comes around. I知 now back in square one, awaiting the launch of the Fiat cars (Bravo, GP and Linea in order of preference). Who knows, circle of life, maybe it will happen all over again.

What brings me to Team-BHP: Share this journey with folks who also have a passion for mechanical thingamajigs.

My Profile: The Tumbler (courtesy Bruce Wayne aka Batman). This radical shape and maneuverability inspires me to look beyond the ordinary.

abhinav.gupta88, thank you for your greetings. R-1-5 it is and I shall ensure that I quote it phonetically always.
The Bravo, though overpriced it may be, is pure obsession which knows no objectivity. One look and I was smitten. Ofcourse, the OTR price may shake me back to reality. I'm Waiting.

bhp1, Thanks you for your greetings. The Tumbler appeared in Batman Begins and features in The Dark Knight also. Awesome car. Would love to buy one if available. Dont miss it.
The Logan is a 1.5 Diesel and superb mileage (16-24).
With regards the Ikon, either the black hole theory should hold good, else the gas tank is directly connected to the exhaust pipe.
