Nice to find kindred spirits!!

Hello bhp-ians.

I've lurked here for a while, and decided it was time to finally bite the bullet and register. Nice to finally be on board.

I'm originally rom Bombay, but temporarily living in San Francisco. I'm a Director for a hi-tech firm, and cars are my reason for living!

My ideal 5-car garage would have:

1. 1963 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing
2. 1967 Shelby GT500 (Fastback)
3. Mercedes Mclaren SLR
4. Aston Martin DB9
5. Range Rover Sport

Well, atleast we have one thing in common! I love those insane Shelby's and had stuck up a giant poster of a Blue/White GT350 in my MBA room. That was a little after I saw one in person.

Welcome to Team-BHP, Ghostrider. Did you visit the awesome 4th July celebrations in Frisco? The fireworks (and co-ordination) are to die for.

Please do take a quick detour to the board rules section too!

Welcome to the forum Ghostrider! I see you too have a liking for the "Widowmaker" which happens to be up there on my list of my all-time favourite cars too!

Have fun around here!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
GTO... the Shelby actually probably is my favorite car... ive seen one or two of them on the road here, and it almost broke my heart not to be driving it. I followed the car in traffic for about 12 blocks (1 mile) out of my way just to take in as much of it as I could.

It's one of the most beautiful things ever made.

And yes, we did catch the fireworks down at the Marina. Absolutely spectacular. Were you here at the time??

Sammyboy, thanks for the welcome. Currently driving a 2.4L Accord, but will be back in bombay (for good) in August, and was thinking of buying the Optra Magnum 2.0L TCRDi.

Any thoughts?

Good car, but you could wait / stretch for a couple of new entrants. Check out our long-term reviews of the Optra.
