Bloody late, but then again, i'm still a newbie around here!

I'm Sharan, and i'm doing my Mechanical Engineering in Chennai.

I stumbled across this forum on google a month back, and ever since then, my mom has had a whole new reason to yell at me. I sit for strings of hours together and read every thread that catches my eye, and while i thought i knew a thing or two about cars, this forum showed me how little i knew.

Having introduced myself so late, i can give you a few instances of how TBHP has changed things:
For some weird reason, i keep having dreams that i'm posting on some thread or another. Another dream was me being a brake pedal(?). I keep going around the Nürburgring in my NHC
I end up staring into space in class thinking about a striking post i read.
I even tried talking to my grandmom about cars while dropping her somewhere!
Sure, these things used to happen before i joined, but my point is that TBHP has taken that part of me that has always loved cars, and given it an open field to express,share,rant, and shout about them. My passion for the automobile has increased exponentially, and trust me, words can't quite express how true this is.


My family has become sick of me sticking my head out of the window to grab a glimpse of a car that has driven by, and this i think will channel my energy down more fruitful avenues.


Its been a little over a month since i joined and yet this place has become almost like home to me.

Plus, where else on earth could i possibly interact with people who know more about cars than the people who built them??

I could stretch this forever, because i still can't believe that i didn't know about this earlier. I will stop here though, for there are many more threads to go explore
