Hello all at team-bhp!

Hi All

I have always been very passionate about cars... all cars. I am 30 years old, married and have a 4 month old son. I am a chartered accountant working in an MNC.
The clockwork of life had taken me away from my passion for cars for quite sometime now. There was a time when I had worked in a garage for a few months to fund my education abroad, just to get a real feel of the machines. During my stay in UK I had the following cars (each for about 1 year) Rover Mini, Golf GTi MK II, Ford Mondeo, Ford Escort XR3i, Seat Ibiza Gti and Renault Laguna 2.0.
I returned to India in 2005 and got a job in Delhi. I drove our 1996 Gypsy King from Kolkata to Delhi as I needed a vehicle. I bought a Ford fusion in 2006 for the need of a more comfortable family vehicle.
Now, I have started using my Gypsy again. I will post another thread with the modifications that I have got done to it and the future plans.
I had done a lot of research when I was looking for an engine for my Gypsy and found team-bhp website to be very helpful. Also my good childhood friend 'SHUVD' helped a lot. I wanted to connect with like minded petrolheads to share our views and knoledge.

Since you're in the NCR, make it a point to attend the NCR meets. These NCR guys sure know how to party

Nice to have another Gypsy lover on board. It would be great to have you post a detailed ownership review of your beast. Head to the 4x4 section for more fun on offroading.
