Hey BHPians

Hey guys,

This is Nishant aka Switch from Noida India. TBH cars were never my thing(Though i love driving) but just started browsing the threads about a month back on TBHP and i knew i had to be a part of the community.

My primary passion is computers and i am a very active member of a Indian Tech Forum(I still dont know weather i am allowed to post the name of the site/url over here). Hopefully i would be able to contribute to the forum

I booked a Swift VDi yesterday after reading a loads of threads on TBHP. Infact TBHP made me "switch" from VXi to VDi. Upgrading from a 2002 Palio 1.2ELX which was a wonderful car to own and to drive but not to maintain :(. Hopefully VDi would be a more powerful as well as a pleasurable experience. But more about all that on the respective subsections.

Also thank you mods for finally approving me and letting me post. I won't be a pain i promise *insert a : D smiley here :

Switch

Waah waah. Welcome bhai!

PS: you are allowed to post the name of that other forum here . There are a large number of common members!

Do post your initial ownership reviews and the longterm ownership reviews. The first thing you should do is to get rid of those stock JKs!

Welcome aboard, Switch! Can't go wrong with the Swift Diesel. We have thousands of members that will tell you that. Congratulations. You will miss the *thud* of your Palio though

Hello Switch,

Cars may not have been your thing but I'm sure you made the SWITCH and turned into a car guy after joining Team BHP The Swift VDi is a great buy with a great combination of power and practicality. Hope to see a review of you new car when you get it.

Take time to go though the rules of the forum. Will help you undertand it better.

Welcome aboard

Hey bro, glad to see you here as well. Though I've been around for quite a while here, I quite haven't made my intro yet. Perhaps I'll start with a brief report of my car, sometime.
