Hi speedsters!

Hi all,

I've just joined the team-bhp gang. I'm going to buy my first car and I'm looking for a lot of help and advice. Been browsing through the forums and have found a ton of helpful information. Thanks to all you guys!

Welcome to the gang, Harish. How about telling us more about yourself?

Do ascertain that you familiarise yourself with the board rules section (at the top of every forum section)

Thanks! It's great to be part of the gang. I currently own a Pulsar 180 and am now taking the step towards owning a set of four wheels. The Team-BHP forums have helped me immensely in gaining tremendous insight into the Indian car scene.

I work as a Unix Systems Administrator with Google India at Hyderabad. But I've been in Bombay so long that I proudly call myself a Mumbaiite. Am a huge automobile freak (though I know very little about how they work) and a big fan of Formula One and rally racing (as a spectator, of course).

My girlfriend (now fiancee) is very keen on going in for a big car. But I've kind of convinced her into looking at the Swift as an option. A little confused since the car is still very fresh on Indian roads. I would want to wait for a while before making the decision. Another car I have in mind is the New Esteem. Just how good is it?
