Team-BHP - just came in

Hello everybody,
I have come across this site in AUTOCAR magazine. i am from hyd. Generally i try to keep myself updated on whats happening in the world of 4 wheels. I currently drive a Mahindra bolero with a couple of changes i made to the interiors. Also own a Ford ikon 1.8D and 1976 model fiat which was my dads first car

i am very much fond of the fiat bcoz we both are of the same age and i learnt driving in it. We gave the fiat a fresh lease of life by changing the engine to a toyota 1.5L turbo unit.
The best car i have driven is the corvette in US. worst being the Mitsubishi outlander AWD. Personal fav is the JEEP wrangler 4x4.

Welcome Chaxy. Tell us more about your experience in a "Vette. Was it a C5 or better yet...a Z06? How did you manage to get a drive in one?

I work in Ge and get to fly to US quite a few times. on one such occasion I got my hands on the Vette at the corvette Museum in Nashville TN. The place is frequented by most corvette owners who like to come and showoff their cars. Its a gr8 experience.The one i drove was a convertible owened by a guy who was the friend of my boss. It had a 6 speed stick. dont remember the model tho. It had awesome torque and Vrrrrooom... !

do we have many jeep buffs here?cool,i'm one.got a LHD willys from bhopal when was in Saugor(mp).swapped the hurricane engine with a idi.peaugot diesel.got the axe,shovel and jerry can fabricated on the original lines.only other mod was putting wire wheel rims on it.now it's with a good friend,he bought when i came back.
love the wrangler and range rover,but now have found a new love,the H1 HUMMER.it rocks:;):
