Hello from Arun

Hello Everyone,

I am Arun and work as a software engineer in Bangalore. After two login name change and atleast 5-6 tries , I have successfully been approved.

Whew!!That is an achievement for me.I am glad I am a member of this community.I got my new Skoda RS(though a second hand) from a member from this community.I have learnt so much about cars and bikes that I am getting a feeling that I want to be mechanic than a software engineer longer term.

Maybe I am finding my real passion as I try to learn more about cars and bikes.

Cheers,
Arun

Arun, welcome to Team Bhp! A Skoda RS huh - now that's a real WOW!

Have a pleasant stay & do take a few minutes to acquaint yourself with the Announcements & Rules section. Look forward to your contributions & see you around!

@Arun - sometimes we engineers get under the hood of so many things (CARS, Phones, Laptops, Camera) that honestly, changing profiles does come to mind often.

Think we all learnt one thing very well while doing engineering - tinkering to the fullest :-)

Welcome to the board.

Congrats on your RS. Let's have an ownership thread on it in the ownership section.

Also, this thread might be useful to you.

Hey Paul,

I have touched 150Kms/Hr on Bangalore-Chennai highway. That is my maximum, till now.I have heard Skoda A.S.S. horror stories in this forum and read each one of them, infact every word and remember them in detail.Even then I went ahead and bought the 5 year old RS.

but I love the car.Needs a touchup though.

My new-old car is 5 years old.So I am looking for mech who is outside Skoda service center to help me service it on a regular basis in Bangalore.

Right now doing my own analysis based on some feedback that I have got.

I have also requested help from Ajmat and will get in touch with him after Diwali.

Thanks,
Arun
