Sushil, you havent mentioned which is the car you use on your driving trips with family, around the country.

Nice to know that you have a little daughter who enjoys travelling. My daughter who is all of 6 months gets really excited when we travel by car.. so much that we dont even think in terms of a train!

Hi I have been using a Fiat Palio 1.2 till July 2009. This red beauty is now 8 + years old and has done more than 1.75 lac Km.

Recently I have brought a Toyota Corolla and am also enjoying the experience.

I plan to drive down to Delhi from Pune on the 24/25th of December with my family. We plan to start on the 24th evening from Pune and halt overnight at Mumbai and then the next day drive from mumbai to Jaipur. Just for records in June we have driven down from Bangalore to Pune in one day in my red beauty... of course this time we would drive the corolla.

I would also like to have a lot of suggestions and experience about driving to Delhi... road conditions eating joints etc because it been some years that I have hit that road. Any special care to be taken on that stretch

Waiting to hear from you all folks and let me be honest the details that were posted on this site made my kids really happy while travelling from Bangalore to Pune.... becsause they found Mc donalds at Kolhapur (The post read...." you will not miss the Mac donald sign at Kolhapur on the highway... "

Take Care and safe driving
