At last.. I'm In

Hey all people... I'm Sahil Thorpe, I'm 20 yrs. of age and a IIIrd Year law student from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Own a Ford iKon 1.3 Flair (Family car) and Royal Enfield Bullet Electra (Mine).

I'm a member for carwale nd autocarindia forums also. But threads there were not satisfying. Saw a TEAM BHP sticker on a car and landed here. Read views of some great autombile enthusiats. Understood that this is the forum that'd quench my thirst for Automobile noesis...! After 3 hard attempts, I finally landed in Team BHP forum!

Soon (1.5 months) going to buy a Toyota Corolla Altis or Honda Civic. Confused to a great extent even though heart says... TOYOTA! all d way!

Thanx for reading... that's all....

If you dare start a thread for the buy you will be in seriously confusion as you will get so many options that your brain wont be able to comprehend.
You should look into the Cruze

H?i welcome to the club.

I drive a Toyota Corolla and my sister drives a civic.

Going by my experience it should be a corolla. Good luck. More responsive engine, may not be as smooth as a civic. Corolla gives better milage.

Hey Sahil,
Welcome to T-BHP. Yes It's tough to be in, but once inside you will just enjoy the stay.

On your next car, can you bit elaborate on your requirements? What exactly you are looking from your new car ?

Happy revving!

Want a C+ segment car. (Not above 13L OTR PUNJAB n CHD)
Low on Maintenance
Highly reliable
Best in Class Features
Petrol Only
Monthly usage very very less ~500-700 kms / month
Plan to keep it for atleast 8 years

Till now corolla altis is the best one in C+ and has already fried the competition. Sales figures are very geat but in Punjab, its civic and civic everywhere.

Corola Altis would be the best option. Next is civic. You may also try the newly introduced Chevy Cruz.
