Hi All!

As you can see from my signature, rather a modest set of wheels compared to most on this forum. Time for an upgrade!!

I credit all my interest in cars to my son, who now has a HUGE collection of model cars and has been reading car magazines since he was 1 (no kidding!). We usually read all the new car reviews, check them out at the showroom and then take a pic of him standing in front of the car.

Was earlier in Bangalore and am in Pune now. Have done a few drives
Bangalore - Pune (twice!)
Bangalore - Mysore
Pune - Mumbai (several times)
Pune - Amravati, Alibag, Kolhapur, Goa

My attitude to driving can be summed up as follows
- If you want to drive above 60 kmph in the city, go early in the morning else go to a ring road/ highway
- If you want to drive above 80 kmph, go to a ring road/ highway
- If you want to drive above 100 kmph, go to a ring road/ highway during the day, else go to an access-controlled expressway
- If you want to drive above 120 kmph, go to an access-controlled expressway during the day
- If you want to drive above 140 kmph, go to a track!

Declared brand biases
- Maruti, Toyota - Positive
- Honda, Skoda - Negative
- All others - Neutral

welcome to the group sir. Good tips you have given(about your attitude). Have a wonderful stay. How about a long term ownership report of your vehicle and before that please go through the rules once.
