Hello there...

Just wanted to drop in and say hello. Came across this site elsewhere on the net and the wealth of info and camaraderie prompted me to register and introduce myself.

I am currently living in Houston and drive a Corolla here. Will be returning to Bangalore sometime by the end of 2005. I have a 2000 Zen LX at home in BLR. Would like to purchase a bigger/more powerful car/SUV as I cant bear to hear the sad grunts of the Zen anymore.

Have been reading around a bit and I am slowing bringing in cars/SUVs into my consideration set based on comments/reviews here. The Baleno and the yet-to-be-released Civic seem to be near the top of the list. Dont like the Corolla a whole lot. Havent decided anything yet and dont have to decide until Dec 2005. Budget hasnt been decided yet either. Might be able to spring for a 10-11 L car if the budget director approves. Do let me know your thoughts on what cars/suvs I should be looking at to satisfy our family needs from a 8-10 year perspective.

Thanks for reading.

Hey Deeptrouble,

Welcome aboard.

Just a thought, how about the Octavia TDi, should be within your budget by the time since the apparently plan to sell it side by side with the new "octi". Should provide you with a more solid car than the Baleno or Civic, and satisfies the "8-10yr perspective".

cya around,
R

Hey dude...welcome to teambhp, about your car it would be a good choice if you took an Octi....I got one myself, a Rider infact.
Enjoy your stay here.
