Hello Everybody !!

Hi Guys,

I am very happy to see this forum about ICE. My friend Gunbir (a.k.a Dr. SQ) introduced me to this forum.

Its good to see people going for quality car audio equipment and installs in India.

I will be happy to help all you guys out there with technical queries and looking for product opinions (unbiased of-course )

Cheers!!

Hey Navin,

Don't retire or sink in the background. There is nothing like "enough help" in Audio because its vastly differentiated by the degree of questions and help

Keep posting.

Navin,

There are lot of ways to install an Ipod.

1. By using head units, AUX in (which lot of Headunits don't have these days) and connecting an IPOD by StereoPin - RCA Cable.

2. Using the same brand as head unit - IPOD adapters.

3. For factory OEM headunits there are lot of adapters available in the international market for various cars.

Its just that which way one wants to go.

I am getting Clarion EA1251 for Clarion HX-D2.

Keep you guys updated.

i am using an alpine 9833 (octy) and a 9830 (sail) and 2 KCA 420i one for each alpine. in fact in the sail i am gonna use a KCA 410C (along with a 634S changer).

what i need is ideas for location. the ipod's controls and screen as not required as the alpine will do that.

JB, one more thing. when you get the time run through this link
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/showth...374#post118374

it is many pages long and will give you a fair idea about many of the audio nuts out here.

Seems like you are a big Alpine fan .

Anyways you can install IPOD in a glove compartment or in arm rest if there is one in the car. These two are best locations.
