Adventure with RE on Team BHP

Dear BHP'ians,

As an introduction, i am Vinay Sambaragimath from Bangalore. I am a Chartered Accountant, working with a Tax advisory firm and specialise in corporate tax.

Although its been more than a couple of years since i have been hooked on to Team BHP, i have never really been active for posting. I have always been overwhelmed by the content as well as the discipline in the forum But i finally decided to give it a try, since i learn so much from the forum, and the urge to post is really high.

I have a penchant for fiats and have been known as a fiat guy in my circle. I grew up learning to drive on my dad's Premier Padmini, and then used to drive my uncle's Uno. For about a year i drove my dad's 118 NE (After he picked up his Opel corsa) before i bought a Zen (a car i still adore). I then purchased my first car, a fiat petra 1.6 and was completely in love with the car, before it laid down its life in a road accident, but saved me. I moved on to my next fiat, a new palio multijet (now used by my wife) and i picked up a Fiat Adventure which truly has me hooked.

Sometime last year i seriously began thinking of owning a bike for weekends etc with my 2 little boys (aged 7 and 3.5 years) In October 2009, i booked a Royal Enfield CI engined Electra when i got to know that the legendary engine is being phased out. It was impulsive decision to book, and the head vs heart conflict to buy or not has been on ever since i booked. The dealer has been chasing me and i now need to decide finally, since i understand that he has received the last batch of electra's. As of now, it looks like the RE would be in my garage next week and i would update the forum on my buying decision.

Well, as a newbie introduction, i am restraining myself with any more lengthier post ! Love every bit of being hooked on to Team BHP and its sure going to be an addiction for life.

Cheers and thanks for my membership !

Vinay Sambaragimath

Note to Moderators - I had posted an introduction about 1 hour earlier, but i wasnt sure if i was logged in and hence am submitting this slightly edited introduction again. Please delete as you find appropriate. Thanks.

Welcome to t-bhp!

Great choice of vehicles, especially the adventure

Please start an ownership review on it, with plenty of pics!
This car is one model that I wish wasn't phased out so quickly.

cheers
