Hello Automotive Passionates / Fans,

I am originally from Maharashtra but currently working at Ford Technical Centre in UK. I completed my MSc in Automotive Engg here and then started working as a Product Planner at Ford. I started hearing a lot about Team-BHP on the Internet and from my friends back in India so decided to be a part of all great enthusiasts.

My other passion is Landscape Photography which I practice a lot when I travel.
My previous ride in Pune was Yamaha YBX and now I own a Ford Focus here.

I will try my best to contribute to the forums.
Any suggestions/ comments are welcome..

Nice to have someone from the Automotive sector on board. You have a job that many of us would most certainly envy. Tell us more about your role as Product Planner at Ford. Is it something to do with introductions of new models in the market?

You'll love the Photography threads on the forum where I'm sure you would like to contribute. Take a stop at the Announcements section to understand the working of the forum.

It is a great place for all automobile lovers. It will be really nice if you help us all understand how cars are designed and product modifications done at Ford. We know the basics but most of it is behind the curtains for us as customers.

Thanks guys.
I work in a Global Powertrain Planning team which looks at Future Engines, Engine Technologies, Manufacturing locations, Volumes and Competitive Benchmarking..So mostly I work only on the future vehicles/ powertrains which is really exciting. Its really great to be in a company which growing very efficiently under a great leader called Alan Mulally.

I will check out the Photography stuff on the forums. Thanks.
