Longtime lurker becomes a member

Hi All, I have been a lurker on these forums for years now, gleaning info for self and friends and family. Just can not say how fortunate I have been to be able to get quality information and advice that has been available on these forums. A big thank you to all members and moderators alike for all their efforts.
I am no spring chicken, approaching 50 now. Fascination with machinery with wheels started in childhood with a huge Dinky car collection, a small select few are still there. Learnt my first riding on Vespa, moved on to a Bajaj Super, then on to an LML with brief stints with a Yezdi Roadking, Escort's 'Bobby' and the legendeary RD350, before settling down towards the cars.
Driving was learnt on a Premier Padmini, polished on a Mahindra Jeep and a maruti Gypsy.
Cars owned include M800 DX the old 1984 model, Premier Padmini, M800 new model, Tata Sumo, Hyundai Accent.
Present stable consists of a Reva Classe-i, an i10 AT and the newest addition Honda City AT.
I really look forward to participate more on the forum and be of help to others as much as others have helped me over the years.
Cheers & Happy & Safe motoring to all.
Bharat

Welcome ZT.

I notice you have only automatics in your stable? Any reasons? Please do provide your feedback and report on living with the Reva, some of us will be enlightened.

Thanks to all. Really look forward to participating in the forums.

Yes, we settled for all ATs mainly because of the traffic and lately it's been a crawl through 5-6 kms. The knee was taking a hit and so thought lets go for the ATs. Was very hesitant with the sedan AT choice as I like to enjoy my drives on highways and the hills, but the TD on the Honda City AT with paddles and sequential mode just sealed the issue.

Reva is used a lot for daily commutes, has been there for 2 years, done about 18,000 kms. Fun to drive due to the flat torque of the electric motor and the dinky size. AC is just about adequate, build quality is below average for the price.
