A Car passion guy - hidden inside trying to reveal now

Hi
I am Prithvi.S living in chennai,
Have a lot of passion for cars.
My passion for cars overcame my passion for computers when i chose my profession as a Engineer in Hyundai motor india way back in 1999 after successfully completing my MBA from PSG college of Technology with a systems and finance specialisation.
I was with Hyundai for 8 years from 1999 to 2007 worked in the factory in sriperumbudur in the Final assembly Production department joined as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and grew up to Deputy Manager. Had worked on all the hyundai models produced seen them transform from shells to cars. The last years was instrumental in supporting the design of i10. Currently working for caterpillar as a 6sigma Black Belt.

My possessions are

Learnt 4 wheeler driving in my mom's car - 1984 Amby

my first possession was
1984 - Amby in good condition with my dad.
1995 - bike TVS Suzuki Max 100R (second hand) - Sold now
2004 - Honda Unicorn (planning to sell)
2005 - Hyosung Comet 250 cc (Sold)
2005 - Scorpio Dlx (meet with an accident and scraped) saved my dad's life
2006- Scorpio SLX my pet still now
2009 - i10 1.2 Magna my wife's prized possession
2010 - awaiting delivery of my Scorpio VLX 2WD Airbag 8 Seater

Guys i had registered in the forum way back in 2006 but i felt the pinch now. i have started to browse the forum daily and reply back to pm's.

If any one wants to use my expertise in OEM process they are always welcome and can knock my door any time

Happy BHP ing

Regards
Prithvi

How did you get into the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee after completing MBA? What was your degree?

I am a BE mechanical graduate and during the 1997 periods software industry was in down turn , i had offers from hexaware and citicorp but at the last min they dropped everyone who got recruited and hyundai had come down for campus and i was interested to take up a mechanical carrier and they didn't differentiate between a UG and a PG grad both the salaries were same that time
