Hello Team-BHP!

Hello!

My name is Avinash Pai and I am 32 years old. I am an automobile aficionado, a voracious book reader, an avid investor, love playing badminton, traveling, watching most sports, movies and listen to an eclectic genre of music.

I am animal and nature lover and would go the distance to make sure that we take care of the two - Humankind is nothing if animals and nature are harmed!

I have owned an RX100 for 16 years in the past (That was recently stolen) and absolutely adored it. I know own a FIAT Palio, Hyundai Santro and a Hyundai i20. I learnt to drive in our old Esteem and loved that car. My parents own an Optra that I drive sometimes as well.

I am a Chartered Accountant by profession. I have worked in a diverse set of corporates and also have run my own company for a while before re-joining the corporate world as a finance head of a company at Bangalore.

I have trawled these pages for more than a year before I decided to take the join this forum. I really like the diverse sets of views here, the impartial car reviews, the passion of the members, the travelogues and so many things. I have just purchased an i20Crdi, a review of which I have posted in the Reviews section.

I look forward to contributing my mite here.

I grew up on Floyd and they still are on "TOP" of my preference list

mobike 008 - You are an 'Avinash' too!! Great to know there are so many Floyd fans here. I grew up on them as well and remember Bangalore those days tripping on Floyd, Doors, Dead etc. Although these days I have mellowed down to enjoying Jazz and Hindustani classical as well.

FiatMyLife - Nice to know we have CA's from Bangalore into Vintage/Classics. And I thought CA's were boring

I too am looking forward to buy a Diesel Hatchback soon and your review and other info will definitely be of help to me. Though I am not a CA, I do share several of your interests - Reading, Investing, Travels.
