Young BHPian introduces himself, at last.

Hey everyone!
I've been around here for some time, but never cared to introduce myself. After my previous post this morning, I realized that I'd clocked 99 posts. So I thought, why not introduce myself in my 100th post? OK here goes -

I'm a a 14 year old Class 10 student of National Public School, Indiranagar, Bangalore. Even since my infancy, I have been fascinated about automobiles and gadgets. I have been known among family and friends as a car enthusiast, who can identify the model, features, performance and trim level of almost any random car on the road. I am an avid reader of ACI and What Car? I read other mags like Overdrive and Car India from time to time. Until recently, I even used to collect scale models (I have nearly 280+ now) and freehand draw and design cars, out of my imagination and memory, without even having to look at a picture/mag/model. I have been a member of the ACI Forum under the username - 'arkboypunk' for quite some time, and clocked 160+ posts there. Ever since I 1st stumbled acros TBHP in Class 7 while googling for info and photos of cars, I decided to join TBHP one day.
Until May '10, I could n't join because -
1. I was too young at 1st.
2. Educational and Health constraints.
3. Account was not approved at 1st!
Anyway, I'm having a great time here now, and hope I can have a greater experience hereafter.
I shall try and continue later, as I need to go and do homework now.

That brings a bit of Nostalgia.

There is nothing like "too young to drive". If someone has told you that, don't believe them.

Yeah I don't! But I do know how to drive! I've practiced on my M800 until a year ago. My because my dad bought the M800 as a 2nd car just for my sake! He's going to upgrade from the m800 to a midsizer pretty much soon, again for my sake!

Well, there's something called the legal age to drive. I won't what you need to be doing on the road. But then at T-BHP we don't appreciate under age driving as well as proclaiming the same here. Hope you get the point.

Yeah I do!
I practiced on a helipad called Lalit Mahal Helipad, located at the foothills of the Chamundi hill, Mysore, generally in the afternoon, when the place was deserted.
OT: In the areas near this place in Mysore, one can find many underage people (boys and girls in the age group 10-17) riding bikes/scooters sometimes at high speeds to glory.
Besides, my dad let me only with him sitting beside me.My dad would most defenitely screw me if I'd asked him to let me take the car onto an open road.

I don't see anything wrong in knowing how to drive.

Who said to do it on the road ? I certainly did't.

16 is the age in "other" countries, and not 18 so they are nuts ?
There are lots of places you can "drive" that does't mean you are on the "public" road. Kindly don't put whatever meaning to the words and make assumptions.

Assumptions are dangerous. Hope you get the point.
