Regarding FWD drifting, well its not really drifting to be honest. I think the definition of drifting is when the slip angle of the rear tyres exceeds that of the front. Technically then you can drift a FWD but its all down to lift off oversteer or handbrake pulling, there is no power oversteer to continue the drift and generate the accelration while sideways.

No drift series in the world allows 4x4 or 2wd cars to drift competitively. Only RWD or cars that have been converted from 4x4 to RWD are allowed.

This also goes for most practise events too, although they may be more flexible when it come to kit cars and custom built vechiles.

I wouldn't class my self as an expert, I'd leave that accolade for the likes of Frank Williams and other top car builders. I am but an apprentice
