Hello auto enthusiasts

Hello All,

Been lurking on this forum for many months now, came to know of this community & its vast knowledge base through a few friends of mine(how are also lurkers ) & through the World Wide Web. Glad to be a part of it.

Little about me: Raghu Patibandla, born & brought in the beautiful city of Visakhapatnam(Vizag, AP) nestled between Easter Ghats & the vast Bay of Bengal. I miss that city so much, Currently living in Austin, TX, working as a Software engineer.

Have been passionate & crazy about cars since I was a kid. Knowing my craziness my dad never thought me how to drive a car .Couldn't resist after setting foot in land of freedom & decided to get myself some wheels & from then on, have been cruising along(within the speed limit of course).

Have been into road racing big time for the last 1yr & have been with many clubs(Drivers Edge, NASA) here in TX.

Once again, I am very glad to part of this community & would love to be an active part of it.

Did I mention, how I amazed I was after looking the detailed reviews & owner ship reports on this forum, keep up the great work team. Cruise ON

Hello vette8991,

So, you sign up to an auto-forum, post a fairly lengthy intro, give us a bit about where you're from etc etc.

But you neglect to mention that you own a corvette

Welcome aboard & pictures please!

Sweet. I've got one as well! Brilliant cam.
They just released the updated firmware. Nothing too great though.

Here's another member from Texas who currently has a E92 m3 and hits the track too : http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/intl-m...deo-added.html

Thats one wicked looking Vette. Red colour and black alloy combo is fantastic. And thats quite a spec list you have there. May I suggest you start a new thread on your Vette?

Welcome aboard. Take a stop by the Rules section to understand the working of the forum.

Drive safe.

Here is a pic of the rear tire after some good amount of track days, race wheels are 18" where as the stock wheels are 18/19 staggered fitments.

Tires I have are high performance tires meant for road use as well, hence they have some good amount of thread design, more the thread design, there is less amount of contact path between tire & road, thus decreasing grip. Hence tires are heat cycled professionally to eliminate tire designs, this process is called shaving:

Finally they did release it, been waiting for a long time, it has the new auto inversion(Upside Down Mode (UPd)), with this mode camera can be mounted up side down(mounted to windshield inside car) & there is no need to rotate files later when watching.

Thanks for the compliments Dippy!

Which section would be appropriate for a new thread?

You could start a new thread in the 'Test Drives & Initial Report' section under the Team BHP Reviews forum.

A full ownership review with pictures and regular updates would be awesome

Sure, would love to see this happening in India, it might not be too far away, as the number of cars & enthusiasts is tremendously growing. I would definitely love to get into a business like that..

That should be a great feeling to move back for good. I am planning on moving back after I get some financial stability, too young for my age now, but thanks for the offer & will keep it in mind, as soon as I have some continuous M flowing in, I am planning on stepping into that space..
