Hello and welcome from a fellow Ferrari lover. I always used to wonder what happens in the Ferrari Owners Clubs but now I guess we'll get a lot of information from you. Pictures from the owner meets would be great too. But before that I'd love to see your F430

Cheers

The older numbers were as BAD 130 Y till 1983

B = random alphabet
AD = area where car is registered
130 - random number
Y - year of registration changed each august

They then switched the order for the next series

ie Y 130 BAD

after running out of options and fed up of people ordering new cars in August

switched to

AA 02 RTY

AA = denotes place of reg
02 = this number changes every six months
RTY -= random letters

However one can choose a sepfic number combination irrespective of place of registration - for a price

Okay - does this mean you can still buy BAD 130 Y (for a price, of course), or is the Ferrari is pre-1983?
