Hello Everyone

It feels great to be a part of this honest and responsible community. I have been visiting this forum extensively from past couple of weeks and I must say, I am totally impressed by the knowledge as well as writing abilities of some of the fellow Bhpians . GTO, Sam Kapasi, H V Kumar, V16, Ashish Pallod (and many more wonderful people) >> Guys U Rock.

Okay now something about myself. I am Siddharth, live in amchi Mumbai, working as a financial consultant for last 5 years, after my MBA. I consider myself fortunate enough to have number of different cars since my childhood. My father is a bigger auto enthusiast and I grew up seeing him selling his old car and buying a better one every 2-3 years. Loving and caring a car as if its actually a "family member" is what I have been taught. Didn't have any option but to be an auto enthusiast .

We used n number of fiats and ambassadors, Maruti 800(old), new 800, Omni, Gypsy, Sumo, Cielo, Ford Escort, Santro, Qualis, Indica tubo, Skoda Octavia,Maruti Esteem etc.(One or two at a time). Currently we own a Maruti SX4 vvt., a pulsar 180 ug IV, activa and 1 good old lambretta!

I sold my esteem around 6 months back (actually I forced myself to sell it) due to some problem regarding our 2nd parking space. and thats when I realized, I JUST cannot park my baby on the streets unguarded, and handed it over to a genuinely interested guy.

Now that the parking problem is permanently resolved, I am in a market for a diesel car as my esteem's replacement. And searching on the net, bumped into this site (not to mention I just loved every bit of it). Currently my budget is very limited but I wish to own a Jaguar XJ and a Land-rover at some point of time. (This is my genuine wish-list and the fact that both are owned by Tata is a mere coincidence) .

Other than my work and automobiles, I have lots of interest in pets; especially dogs (already read the Tbhpians and their pets thread). I also love long distance travels, gardening and landscaping excites me so does interiors designs. Actually this list is a bit long so its better to stop it (oh I already used my two smileys!!).

Looking forward to have lots of fun, meeting some wonderful people and contribute a little bit from my limited knowledge towards this beautiful community, which has given me so much in such a limited period of time.

Cheers,

Sidms
